Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEMH Tutor
Location:
East of England, Suffolk, Barking
Job Type:
Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours

Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Deliver tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and abilities
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Experience with online teaching platforms
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position
- Work in a school or home setting with students with SEMH needs
- Potential for remote or online teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
