Job Title: KS3 English and Maths Outreach Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths tutoring sessions to KS3 students
- Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of key concepts
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialisation in English and Maths education
- Experience working with KS3 students
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience in delivering outreach programmes preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Work may involve travel to different school locations within the East of England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
