About Us:
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher who has previous experience teaching children between Year 3 and Year 6. We provide an inclusive learning environment for children, and a supportive environment for staff.
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated KS2 Teacher to join our team. As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupils' progress, and supporting their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all learners
- Provide an inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their development
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school improvement initiatives
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, ensuring they are kept informed about their child’s progress
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting positive behaviour and well-being
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
- Report back to SLT regarding progress and children’s behaviour
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to their success
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- A creative approach to teaching and problem-solving
- A commitment to personal and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
