KS2 Teacher
Location: Shropshire
Contract Type: Long-Term Fixed Term (1 Year Initial Contract with Potential for Permanent Appointment)
Start Date: January 2025

A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust invites applications from enthusiastic and committed individuals for the position of KS2 Teacher at one of their outstanding schools in Shropshire. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering an exceptional standard of education to pupils.

The successful candidate will initially be appointed on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of securing a permanent role based on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all pupils.
  • Ensure progress in line with national curriculum standards, catering to diverse learning needs.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and ambitious school community.
  • Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2, with strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on pupils’ lives.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
