Job Title: KS2 Teacher (SEN)
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (Term Time Only)
Pay: Starting at £140 per day (with potential to increase)
Are you a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher with a drive to make a real difference? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated teacher to support Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Scunthorpe area.
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive SEN setting, delivering tailored lessons that support students’ individual learning needs. You’ll play a key role in creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to KS2 students with SEN

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
-
Work closely with support staff and the wider SEN team to meet individual needs

Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required

Promote positive behaviour and social development
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
-
Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally within KS2
-
A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
