KS2 Teacher

Primary School Teacher – Newcastle

A primary school in Newcastle is looking for a dedicated Teacher to start as soon as possible. In this role, you will work with children in KS2 who are currently out of mainstream schooling due to a variety of social, emotional, and mental health reasons. The school is very small, and you will have the opportunity to teach across different year groups.

You will also be responsible for leading a team of support staff within the classroom to ensure effective support for all students.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• A primary PGCE, preferably with teaching experience in a specialist provision.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and how to adapt it for varying needs.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Full-time availability.

The school is seeking a proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate into the team, ensuring a smooth transition for the children. Ideally, you will have a Team Teach or equivalent qualification, but this is not essential if you have significant experience managing difficult behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
