Job description

Are you a passionate teacher looking to secure a Full Time Teaching position for September?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Year 6 Teaching position in September. This particular role is for a highly regarded school in the Fishponds area of Bristol.

The Role:

  • As a Year 6 Teacher in this school you will be responsible for pupil attainment and learning within a class of 30 pupils.
  • You will be a role model with proven efforts to teach pupils not only educationally but offer effective methods to develop the children socially and emotionally.
  • You will need to offer a high level of pastoral care and have the ability to recognise any safeguarding issues a child may be facing.
  • You will be playing a vital part in this developmental year of the pupils’ futures as they prepare to go to Comprehensive school.
  • You will have the ability to prepare the pupils to an appropriate level for their SAT exams.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional colleagues and parents and set a good example through presentation and personal and professional conduct.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
