Job Title: KS2 Supply Teacher

Location: Darlington
Contract Type: Supply (full time until Christmas with potential to extend)
Start Date: 9th December
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications


Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with experience in Key Stage 2?

We are looking for a passionate KS2 Supply Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of year groups within Key Stage 2 and contribute to the development of children’s learning in a positive, engaging environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Effectively manage classroom behavior, promoting respect and collaboration.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and liaise with colleagues to ensure continuity in learning.
  • Support the wellbeing and personal development of students.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally with a sound knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • A strong commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
