Job description

KS1 Primary Teacher

We have an exciting new role primarily to teach Year 3 pupils to start in September for one term, with the potential to extend to Christmas.

The school is in Darlington recently graded ‘Good’ from OFSTED inspection.

We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team of teaching staff. As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners aged 5 to 7 years old. Your passion for teaching and dedication to student development will be key in creating a positive and engaging learning experience.

About the role:

  • Full -time, temporary contract starting in November 2024, with the possibility of a permanent role.
  • QTS
  • Understanding that learning is best achieved when pupils feel understood, happy and safe.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals.
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and honest.
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding, ensuring any concerns are reported.
  • Actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.

Requirements:

-          DBS uploaded to the update service.

-          Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities

-          Able to drive (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
