Role: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Start: March 2023
Teaching Personnel are working with a ‘Good’ Primary School in the Middlesbrough area who are on the hunt for an enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in the new year of 2023. The role is intended to go full-time for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate should be experienced working with children in KS2 as well a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum as you will be expected to take small groups of pupils for any intervention sessions as needed.
The right candidate should have good behaviour management, experience with SEN would be beneficial but not required.
Role requirements/responsibilities:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Solid understanding of the curriculum
- A specialist in KS2 would be advantageous
- Good behaviour management
- Experienced with taking small groups for intervention
- Holds a Child Only DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
