Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a KS2 Primary School Teacher starting after May half-term with the opportunity to continue on a permanent contract in September. The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about the academic development of young students.

About the role:

  • Opportunity to earn £30k- £40k (dependent on experience)
  • Start date after May half-term, opportunity for permanent contract in September
  • School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Macclesfield and Congleton

As a Primary School Teacher, you will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons ensuring they align with the national curriculum and needs of the students. Working closely with support staff to assess and manage pupil progress and communicating feedback to parents and SLT. Additionally, you will develop and implement individualised learning plans and work with teaching assistants to ensure the curriculum is accessible to all students and those who require additional academic and behavioural support receive this. Overall, it is important to always create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A QTS with experience in Primary
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff

To be considered for this role applicants must have an enhanced child only DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
