This highly regarded primary school in Wavertree (L15), led by a committed Headteacher and Governing Body, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Classroom Teacher to join its successful KS2 team. Conveniently located, the school benefits from excellent public transport links and offers free on-site parking. With strong core values at its heart, the school delivers a rich and engaging curriculum to its diverse pupil community.

The Role

This position has arisen due to a long-term staff absence. The Headteacher is seeking a proactive teacher to join the KS2 team and address the needs of a class exhibiting challenging behaviours, whose academic progress currently falls below expectations. The class encompasses pupils of varying abilities, requiring differentiated and creative teaching strategies to foster engagement and accelerate progress.

This role presents a rewarding challenge for a skilled teacher with a proven record of raising academic attainment.

Essential Candidate Requirements

  • A genuine commitment to raising pupil attainment
  • A passion for teaching Mathematics
  • Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A strong track record of improving academic outcomes across KS2
  • Availability from April 2025

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
