Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to fostering a positive learning environment, and skilled in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for KS1.
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the academic and personal development of pupils.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Uphold the school’s values, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers (NQTs).
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
