Job Description
Job Duties: As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students, ensuring the curriculum is effectively taught. You will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to both students and parents. Collaboration with colleagues to support student development and attending staff meetings are also key responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS) is essential. Valid DBS clearance and experience working with Key Stage 1 students are required.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field is necessary.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1 is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, ability to differentiate instruction, effective communication skills, and a passion for teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) and experience working with diverse student populations is desirable.
Additional Information: This role involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis. Collaboration with colleagues and occasional participation in extracurricular activities may be required. Both ECTS and Fully Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
