KS1 Teacher wanted in Blackburn

Location: Blackburn

Role: KS1 Teacher

A full-time role, with the potential to stay on permanently

An immediate start

Pay: £150 a day (paid on a weekly basis)

Summary of the School

The school is a large school based in Blackburn, they have most recently received a good Ofsted report - commending them for their performance and positive attitude throughout the school, with awareness for areas of improvement. With a large and supportive senior leadership team they are looking for new members of staff that are looking to make a difference to the students and school, whilst being able to expand their experience within the role.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure high achievement and personal development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers.
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its community-focused ethos.

Essential requirements/training/qualifications

The Qualifications:

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree
  • QTS Qualification

Locality of the school

The school is located within the heart of Blackburn, with nearby public transport services available. The school does have an onsite car park, but spaces are limited, so we suggest travelling by public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
