SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 1 (KS1)

Are you a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re working with a fantastic primary school in Ealing who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team full-time from May.

About the role:

• Working closely with pupils in KS1 who require additional support

• Providing 1:1 or small group support, both inside and outside the classroom

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning strategies

• Helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

• Monitoring progress and feeding back to the SENCo and teaching staff

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting

• Be confident working in KS1

• Have a calm, patient, and empathetic approach

• Be adaptable and able to respond to the individual needs of pupils

• Be a strong communicator and team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
