KS1 SEN Teacher – Bromley

A small, Primary school, with incredible facilities and resources, is searching for a KS1 SEN Teacher, to join their team from April 2025.

The SEN school meets the needs of learners with Speech, Language and Communication needs, providing the very best support, opportunities and encouragement for children under their care to reach their full potential. Children also have access to a range of therapies which supports or complements their learning. As a KS1 SEN Teacher, you will be joining a team who are committed to providing children with the best education possible.

The SEN school offers children a comprehensive curriculum which includes a wide range of opportunities to develop the speech, language and communication skills that will enable them to successfully access learning. It is a place where children can flourish in a safe, calm and positive working environment. As a KS1 SEN Teacher, you will be part of a team providing the best education and pastoral care to ensure that children are heard and seen to shine.

Job Description – KS1 SEN Teacher

  • KS1 SEN Teacher
  • Working in a Primary SEN School
  • Focus on children with Speech, Language and communication difficulties
  • Delivering creative and engaging SEN lessons throughout
  • Adapting and differentiating the curriculum for learners with SEN
  • April 2025 (or September 2025) start – Permanent contract
  • Outer London pay scale MPS 1 – UPS 3 + SEN allowance
  • Located in London Borough of Bromley

Person Specification –KS1 SEN Teacher

  • MUST HAVE UK QTS
  • Good academics required - GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
  • Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards
  • Proven record of good / outstanding feedback from lesson observations / performance management
  • Articulate, creative and dedicated to supporting children with SEN
  • Passionate, positive & team player required
  • Confident & strong classroom management skills
  • Enthusiastic and committed to teaching children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
