Exciting Opportunity for a KS1 Teacher at Wavertree Primary School (L15)

We are delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Primary Teacher seeking a rewarding full-time position in Wavertree (L15). This role is for a Year 2 Teacher at an outstanding Wavertree Primary School, starting in January 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Applications are warmly welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced, fully qualified Teachers. The school is an Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ primary, located in the heart of Wavertree (L15), and is well-regarded for its strong leadership, guided by the Headteacher, senior leaders, and Governors.

Given the significance of the KS1 SATs during this period, the Headteacher has emphasised the importance of the successful candidate having prior experience in teaching KS1. Whether you are a newly qualified Teacher or a fully qualified professional, a solid understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and expectations will be highly beneficial. In your application, we expect you to demonstrate a creative yet purposeful approach to teaching and learning, excellent organisational skills, and a strong commitment to both the role and the progress of the pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
