Year 2 Teacher
Location: Blackburn
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: January 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Blackburn. This is a full-time position, starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
- Participate in school events, meetings, and continuous professional development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
