Job Title: Intervention Teacher - Part-time or Full-time (Flexible Hours)

Location: WF5, Wakefield

School: Large "Good" Rated School

Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency, is excited to represent a large and highly-regarded "Good" rated school in WF5, Wakefield. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to join the team from January 2024 to July 2024. This position offers flexible working hours, accommodating both part-time and full-time schedules.

Position: Intervention Teacher (KS1 and KS2)

Contract Duration: January to July 2024

Hours: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible to Suit You)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver targeted interventions across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to identify areas of improvement for students.
  • Provide individual and small group support to address learning gaps and boost attainment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the wider school community to create a cohesive learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective interventions to support student progress.
  • Adaptability to work across both KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
