Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time.
Salary: £80 - £95.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 and small group support to students within the classroom and within tailored learning environments which suit individual children.
- Assist the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies tailored to each students needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel supported, valued and respected.
- Work well with teachers, parents and external professionals to ensure effective communication and holistic support for all students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to class teachers.
- Support children’s transitions between activities and location within the school.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare or SEN Support (CACHE Diploma, Special Educational Needs Diploma)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service.
- Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with diverse needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality of opportunity for all students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
