Job Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher

A Roman Catholic primary school in Wigan that works closely with Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified KS1 Teacher for the start of the academic year in September 2025! According to Ofsted, they  “Continue to be a good school” and “Pupils enjoy being part of this welcoming and supportive school community”.

Job Description

  •  September 2025 start.
  •  Full Time Position - 5 days per week.
  •  Competitive daily pay rate in line with MPS/UPS scale points.  
  •  Located in Ashton-in-Makerfield in WN4.
  •  Easily accessible via public transport.

 Requirements/Responsibilities

  •   A Teaching degree or PGCE with QTS.
  •   Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  •   Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices.
  •   Strong classroom management skills.
  •   Positive outlook and excellent communication skills.
  •   Child Workforce DBS or willingness to apply for Child Workforce DBS.
