Location: Sheffield
Position: Full-Time
Salary: £120 - £150 per day
Start Date: Monday 14th April 2025

Are you an energetic and committed Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher eager to inspire young learners? We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to become part of our dynamic and supportive team at our Primary School in Sheffield.

The Role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting children in either Year 1 or Year 2, guiding them in developing key skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, while also fostering their social and emotional growth. You will deliver engaging lessons, create a positive classroom environment, and collaborate with parents and staff to support the overall development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and supported.
  • Track and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and setting achievable goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement school-wide initiatives and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Keep accurate records of students' achievements and address individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Years 1 or 2).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach to teaching.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
