Job description

SATs Booster Teaching Assistant required to deliver Maths and English interventions - Y6 Experience required.

Year 6 Maths and English Intervention Teacher

Blackpool (FY1)

Y6 SATs Experience and at least one year experience working in a mainstream school setting

Work ASAP until February 17th 2025. 

*CPD Opportunities such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness Training* available through Teaching Personnel.

The role we are currently recruiting for is in a mainstream primary school in Bispham area.  The client school is wanting the ideal candidate to start after as soon as possible to at least the summer term. The Head teacher in school is supportive and is keen to improve standards in her school. The most recent OFSTED grading for school was ‘Outstanding’, and the Head teacher is looking to withhold ‘OUTSTANDING’. With this, she has asked for “staff members who are committed to the children” and “staff who go above and beyond to give the children the best opportunity in school”. The Head teacher also commented that the school will happily support the member of staff to fit in well become a full part of the team. 

Requitements for the role:

-          You will need to hold a ‘PASS’ or equivalent in Maths and English.

-          Have experience in UKS2.

-          Have good behaviour management techniques.

-          Be committed to working hard to support progress. 

Whilst working with Teaching Personnel, you will expect to be paid appropriately (usually £90 per day, based on 6.5 working hours). You will also be able to receive subsidised professional development courses, accredited and certified.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
