- Full-time position to start asap or September start to be considered (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)
- Range of needs including but not limited to: behavioural, ASD and ADHD.
- SEN provision based school (secondary)
Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced and confident Inclusion Support Worker to support pupils with a range of additional needs in an SEN secondary school based in Huddersfield. If you have previous experience supporting SEND pupils and have a passion for education then we would love to hear from you!
The role:
- Identifying needs and monitoring progress of pupils
- Understand and able to use positive handling strategies to keep pupils safe
- Ensure pupils are engaged and supported throughout their learning
- Support pupils to transition into mainstream education
- High expectation of pupils
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
- Minimum of three months UK residency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
