ICT Teacher Job Description

Location:

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons to students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback for improvement
  • Utilise technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Computing or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Confident in teaching ICT concepts to students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience teaching ICT at the secondary level

Working Conditions:

The ICT Teacher role is based in a secondary school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The position is temporary and requires full-time availability during school hours. The teacher will work closely with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
