ICT Teacher Required in Darlington

Are you an enthusiastic ICT teacher looking for a new challenge starting April 2025? Our client school in Darlington is offering a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we welcome your application.

Position: ICT Teacher
Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (M1 to UPS3)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: April 2025

Required:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and a genuine passion for the subject
  • Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • A valid child-only DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Two recent professional references

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teach ICT to students at KS3 and KS4, catering for varying abilities
  • Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging lessons, both practical and theoretical
  • Utilise fully equipped ICT suites for practical learning
  • Get involved in extracurricular activities
