Job Advert: Computer Science Teacher – Birmingham (B10)

Are you a passionate Computer Science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Birmingham? We are working with a dynamic secondary school in the B10 area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science teacher to join their team ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and inspire the next generation of tech innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.

• Provide support to students to help them achieve their academic potential.

• Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, with a passion for teaching.

• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (A-level experience is a plus).

• Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to the varying abilities of students.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
