Job Advertisement: Full-Time ICT Teacher

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future through technology? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a dynamic team at a forward-thinking secondary school in Bacup. This full-time position is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative ICT lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for technology and digital skills.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the national curriculum and promote student progress.
  • Assess, track, and report on student performance, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Support and motivate students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in departmental planning and contribute to the school’s wider community and extracurricular activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification in ICT or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and a passion for teaching.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the personal and academic development of all students.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
