Job Title: ICT Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging ICT lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilise technology effectively in teaching to enhance learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching methods

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a relevant subject area (ICT or Computer Science)
  • Proven experience teaching ICT at secondary school level

Education:

Degree in ICT or Computer Science

Experience:

Previous experience teaching ICT at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ICT curriculum and educational standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with virtual learning environments

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The ICT Teacher may also be required to attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
