Job description

Are you passionate about history, literature, and the social sciences? Do you have a talent for bringing these subjects to life and inspiring young minds? We are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our school community in January 2025!

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a degree in a humanities-related field and a recognised teaching qualification
  • Has a passion for teaching subjects such as history, geography, literature, and social studies
  • Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Is creative, adaptable, and committed to delivering dynamic and interactive lessons
  • Values diversity and inclusivity, creating an environment where all students feel supported

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging humanities lessons that inspire critical thinking and a love for learning
  • Encourage students to explore different perspectives and develop their analytical skills
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the humanities curriculum
  • Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
