Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Cranborne, Dorset
Job Type: Full-time (permanent)
Salary: £25,729.60 - £26,187.20 (depending on experience)
Job Description: Our client are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our facilities. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vacuum cleaning floors
- Spot cleaning of spillages
- Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass
- Emptying and cleaning bins (daily)
- Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds
- Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces
- Wiping, dusting, cobweb removal, polishing banister rails spindles and wood surrounds.
- Replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets, etc (daily)
- Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work and ensure the building is secure on exit
- Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time
- All defects/hazards must be immediately reported
Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.
Requirements:
- Experience of using equipment and materials in situations where care is needed to prevent harm to others
- Key aspects of Health and Safety legislation for cleaning
- Experience of cleaning a variety of surfaces.
- The role will require some lone working; travel; physical work and the ability to drive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
