Job description

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Art & Photography Teacher to lead the department at a secondary school in Basingstoke. This permanent role is perfect for a creative and inspiring teacher looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential for long-term growth and development within the school.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the Art & Photography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Teach Art and Photography across KS3 & KS4, fostering creativity and self-expression.
  • Develop and oversee the curriculum, ensuring an engaging and progressive learning journey.
  • Support and mentor department staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Organise art exhibitions, competitions, and school projects to showcase student talent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
