Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivated and skilled HLTA to join an independent, faith-based school for September. The working hours can be flexible to suit the successful candidate but would ideally be 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).

The school takes a unique approach to education, encouraging students to self-direct their learning, embedding a strong sense of personal responsibility and intrinsic motivation in each student. The school are looking for somebody who can embody their values and help inspire the next generation of young people in their journey toward independence.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a HLTA qualification.
  • Have relevant, successful experience working with KS3-4 students as a Teaching Assistant/Senior TA/Class Teacher or similar.
  • Be a positive and proactive member of the school team.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and implement new teaching techniques.
  • Hold a commitment to maintaining and demonstrating high standards.
  • Support in the planning and delivery of an adapted curriculum for SEND pupils.
  • Have their own transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
