Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School, Maidenhead
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience & qualifications)
⏳ Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time available
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for an exciting opportunity in a primary school? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated HLTA to support a vibrant and inclusive school in Maidenhead.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group interventions and whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of abilities, ensuring they reach their full potential
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Support children with SEN and additional learning needs, adapting activities to suit individual needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary
Requirements:
✔️ HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
✔️ Previous experience working in a primary school setting
✔️ Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and classroom management strategies
✔️ A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔️ An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
