Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Gainsborough Area

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and dedicated HLTA to join a thriving school in Gainsborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success and development of children by supporting teaching staff and delivering high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils.
• Lead learning activities and interventions, including phonics sessions.
• Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, reporting to teachers.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or similar role.
• Strong understanding of phonics and delivering interventions.
• Passionate about education and supporting pupil development.
• Flexible, proactive approach with excellent teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
