Teaching Personnel is looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for Secondary Schools in the Durham area (DH Postcodes).
The position is open to a qualified HLTA/Cover Supervisor. With the potential to be offered a long-term or permanent role teaching across KS3 and KS4
POSITION DETAILS:
- Position – Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Start date: February 2025
- Contract type: Temporary
- Pay: £450 - £550 per week.
ROLE DETAILS:
- Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
- Work alongside a class teacher, providing support to both them and students.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Teaching Assistant Qualifications are essential.
- Additional education qualifications are highly desirable.
- You’ll have access to excellent CPD and training courses through Teaching Personnel.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH TEACHING PERSONNEL, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two references from recent employment.
- Have a child-only DBS (we can help you apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
