Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher with a passion for bringing the past to life? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for skilled History specialists to work in schools across Northampton, offering both short-term and long-term placements.

About the Role: As a History Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to deliver captivating lessons in schools across Northampton. Whether you’re seeking short-term or long-term assignments, we offer flexible working options that allow you to choose the placements that suit your availability. You’ll be responsible for teaching students from KS3 to KS5, helping them develop a deep understanding of historical events, societies, and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging History lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop critical thinking and a passion for learning about the past.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Adapt to different school environments while maintaining high teaching standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified History teacher (QTS or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across various schools in Northampton.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to inspiring students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
