Position: History Teacher
Location: Northampton

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic historians to join our team of excellent teachers to provide support, and cover in schools across Northampton during staff absence.
About the role
The successful candidate will ideally be committed to inspiring students into becoming interested in the subject through their love for history and exciting lessons also helping to promote a comprehensive understanding of the past. You will be required to deliver pre-planned lessons left by the class teacher, as well as communicating with other staff within the department to ensure feedback on students performance, and progression is being passed over to the teacher.
Requirements
ü A qualification in teaching (QTS or equivalent)
ü A specialism in History as a subject, or experience in teaching it is ideal
ü Great classroom management skills
ü Experience covering lessons for secondary aged students
ü A child only enhanced DBS
ü An overseas police clearance (if applicable)
ü Enthusiasm and passion for promoting an interest and want to learn about the subject in students
ü Ability your teaching to all ages and levels to help understanding across the board

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
