Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled History Teacher to join our network of supply staff. This role involves delivering engaging and informative history lessons to secondary school students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of historical events, figures, and contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and engage students through dynamic teaching methods and interactive learning activities.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in history education.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in History or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching history at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of historical content, teaching methodologies, and curriculum standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
