History Teacher (West London)

Teaching Personnels PWR Team

Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is delighted to be working with an outstanding school in West London who are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their  team.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the History curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and fosters a love of learning for the subject.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in History.
  • Proven experience of successful teaching and learning in a secondary school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for History.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
  • An ability to inspire students to question, analyze, and engage with historical events and figures.
