Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £100–£110 per day
Hours: Full-Time

A two-form entry primary school in Woolton is seeking to appoint an experienced HLTA on a temporary-to-permanent basis, starting in May 2025. The initial contract will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position thereafter.
The role will involve providing long-term cover for PPA sessions and staff absences across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Therefore, prior experience across both key stages is highly desirable.
The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is well-respected within the local community for its welcoming atmosphere, strong values, and clear educational vision. The successful candidate will be expected to reflect and uphold the school’s ethos in their teaching practice.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) or an Early Career Teacher looking to gain broader experience across the primary phases before moving into a full classroom teaching role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
