Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary

Location: Windsor, United Kingdom

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, and providing targeted support to pupils who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead small group sessions and interventions, adapting materials to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Support class teachers in assessing pupil progress and providing feedback.
• Supervise and support pupils during lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities.
• Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
• Provide cover for class teachers during short-term absences or PPA time.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or experience covering primary classes in the UK.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
