Teaching Personnel are working closely with fantastic schools who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic learning environment where your skills and enthusiasm will be truly valued.

Your Role:

As an HLTA, you’ll be supporting both teachers and students across the school. Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher

• Leading small group interventions and 1:1 support sessions

• Assisting with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Helping to assess pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff

• Being a positive role model and fostering a nurturing learning environment

• ✅ HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience

• ✅ Ability to lead whole-class learning when required

• ✅ A proactive and confident approach to supporting children’s education

• ✅ Strong communication and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
