Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with personal care experience to join our team, supporting secondary schools across Northampton. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to students in a classroom setting, assisting with learning and academic progress.
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, including leading small group activities and interventions.
- Offer personal care support to students with additional needs, ensuring dignity, respect, and safety at all times.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and physical development, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a secondary school environment.
- Experience in providing personal care to students with additional needs (e.g., physical disabilities, SEN).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
