Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Nelson (BB9)
A specialist provisional school are utilising Teaching Personnel in their search for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to begin as soon as possible. This is a full-time role that may involve some Planning, Preparation and Assessment cover with small groups of pupils.
This is often linked to learning or communication difficulties. Senior leadership require a Teaching Assistant with SEN/SEMH experience who is comfortable managing behavioural disruptions. Maths, English and Psychology graduates are encouraged to apply.
The incoming Teaching Assistant will split their time between PPA cover and general support throughout the school. In particular, the successful applicant will work with Key Stages 1 and 2. They will be expected to uphold the school’s individualistic approach, looking for new solutions to fit the needs of specific pupils.
- £90+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
- Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
- Opportunity to work closely with pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, making a real difference.
- ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
