Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Job description
HLTA Role - Temporary with the potential for a permanent contract
Pay rate: £95-£100/day.
Full-time Role: HLTA
Are you seeking an engaging and dynamic position that offers new opportunities, challenges, and experiences each day? Perhaps you're looking for a rewarding role where you can end each day knowing you've made a positive impact on the lives of children who need it most. If this sounds like you, please read on!
A large primary school in the L1 area is currently seeking to employ an experienced HLTA on a fixed-term contract starting in January 2025, with the position extending throughout the academic year (with the possibility of becoming permanent). The role involves providing temporary cover for PPA and staff absences across both KS1 and KS2, so experience in both key stages would be highly beneficial.
The school holds a GOOD rating from Ofsted and has an excellent reputation in the local area and wider community. It is larger than average for the area, which brings numerous advantages, especially for educators looking to develop their careers and take advantage of the many opportunities that lie ahead. At the heart of the school is a warm and inclusive environment, underpinned by a clear set of values and visions. The ideal candidate would, therefore, be someone who can consistently reflect these values in their teaching practice.
This role would suit a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) or possibly an Early Career Teacher keen to gain further experience in primary education before taking on a full-time teaching role.
If you believe this could be the right opportunity for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by clicking “apply now”.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
