Outreach HLTA – Knutsford (WA16)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a full-time Outreach Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools based in Knutsford (WA16). This school is seeking a HLTA who is committed to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people with complex SEN and SEMH needs, all of whom have an EHCP. This is a mixed-age provision, catering for students from 8–18 years of age. The incoming HLTA must be able to build positive and trusting relationships and managing challenging behaviour effectively,

There will be occasions when the incoming HLTA will be required to transport pupils, therefore applicants should have a full driving licence to drive a school vehicle.

Details:

• The incoming HLTA will receive a rate of £110+ per day, depending on their experience and qualifications.
• This role involves a 37-hour working week; term-time only, including INSET days.
• This is a long-term position paid through Teaching Personnel, with the potential to secure a permanent school contract after a successful trial period.
• The successful candidate will receive weekly PAYE through timesheets, with no agency fees or umbrella company.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
