Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: West London Area – Hillingdon, Harrow, Hounslow and Ealing

Pay rates: £83 to £95 per day (based off experience)

Role Types: Supply, Short-term or Long-term also opportunities to go permanent at a school

Responsibilities as a HLTA

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will support with students learning and providing short-term cover for whole classes when necessary. You will also:

• Work with teachers to plan, organise, and deliver lessons.
• Support small groups of pupils in intervention sessions.
• Provide personalised support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
• Contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

What we look for in an ideal candidate

• HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
