Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are working with a primary school in Hackney, East London, who are looking for the right person to add to their team long term to support their students on a 1-1 basis. It is extremely important that you are a people person and can take the time to build strong and trustworthy relationships with the pupils.

They are looking for a HLTA who has good access to transport links.

• Primary school - Hackney, East London
• Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-3.30pm (Term-Time only)
• Competitive rate £95.00 - 110.00 per day
• Start date- As soon as possible.

They are looking for the right candidate who will work five days per week and show a genuine interest in supporting the students and guiding them through day to day. Children work in small groups and the school caters for young men with additional social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The ideal HLTA would be somebody who has experience working within an alternative provision. You will be able to guide and support students. HLTA’s often take students offsite so they can participate in learning in alternative ways.
